The other day I got a call about a leaky chimney. The customer was experiencing leaks because snow was melting and leaking around their chimney. This is a common problem that happens in the winter due to snow melting. So what can you do? The first thing is to get it checked out when the weather is good,but if that’s not an option it can be fixed in this weather. In this particular case the chimney was in such bad shape the customer chose to take it down and replace it with a liner and metal stack. the point is , you don’t have to wait until spring to fix your chimney problem.
