Chimney repair Davenport

I got a call the other day about a chimney cap that was leaking. After looking at it, I seen no reason to fix the chimney when it really needed to come down. It was only venting the water heater and that could of been done by a four inch stack. This is a common occurrence where customers want to get chimney repair when they would be better served having it removed. Brick chimneys are one of the biggest leak sources on a roof and removing them eliminates alot problems.This customer asked a bunch of questions, but I’m not sure he ever got his chimney fixed.
